1. NO. I am not writing this on company stationery. i figured i wouldwrite before the magic/delusion/euphoria/Prozac wears off. I woke upat 0530 this morning. as usual, an early start meant that the nitebefore would be spent watching old channel 5 drama reruns at 3am inthe morning.. i couldnt sleep. Plus i had the bout ofgastric/diarrhea/stomach flu/macdonald's karma.. that meant that ihavent eaten the whole day.

i felt like a wet sock.. limp. haha... The best advice i would ever give to anyone starting his/her first dayat work would be to wear comfortable shoes. I wore comfy heels..kinda.. they were the closed toed kind, because i was taught in CareerSkills 101 in SMU ( i am not kidding here) that you should always wearclosed toed shoes.. more professional.. so i kinda didnt really regardany chick who wore opened toe shoes to work that highly.. i think she looks sloppy and it was a poor representation of the outfit sheworks/worked/(soon to be fired) for. Problem is, closed toed shoeswere either geeky chunky ones .. or stylish slim non-ergonomic ones. Ichose the latter for lack of better judgment. It was those pointyfronted ones.. and it used to, well it still, get caught in the flapsof carpets receiving me, i would do a trip or mis-step ever so often.SOmetimes my ninja like and cat like reflexes would save me thehumiliation of picking my ass off the ground. Most times i would tripbut not fall.

i got along well with two other new hirees. One had 3 jobs behind himin 1.5 years in banking sales. The other was a food and beveragemanager at the Golden Dragon at the Taj in Mumbai. He is currentlylooking for an apartment he could bunk into. So if you are looking for someone to (whatever an F&B manager is good for), you should contact him and offer him a place to stay. i tried hooking him up with myindian friends who might be moving out and looking for accomodations...

my neck hurts. i read in my Ergonomic module that i have to take on BU (yes, it is as bizarre as it sounds) that ishould have my PC terminal at eye level or below eye level.. i was toolazy to readjust the terminal i was working at.. so i guess 10 hoursof screen time really takes a toll on you huh? (lazy ass bitch..) im supposed to self study and take the ergonomic quiz.. and should i pass or fulfill a certain percentage... i can easily request for a backrest or a new chair that would be kinder to my lumbar sacral angle(ergonomic orthopaedic jargon for the ignorant). no shit.. IS bbg FOR REAL?? WILL I HAVE TO BUY THE SUPPORT PILLOW? IS MARTHASTEWART BEHIND ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS WE HAVE AT THE PANTRY?
