April Fools

The origin of April Fool's Day started, if i got my Roman trivia right, when Julius Caesar decided that the new Roman calender would have its first day on January 1st instead of April 1st. However, because not everyone got the email, some fools celebrated new year on April 1st still, these people were the Greeks.. (kidding). Hence, the coining of the term April Fool's.

I had the lowest day of the year yesterday. A lethal combination of duress and PMS and raging tempers tested by the stresses of the day. Both parties were emotionally exhausted. It was a heartwrenching exercise but nevertheless should not be taken too seriously since ties that bind, bind. And words are usually just spoken but not meant, unlike intentions. We'll see how it goes when the dust settles. I am not the kind of person that bears a grudge or is slow to forgive. But that doesnt mean that i will forget.

*digression* This reminds me of an episode on Futurama where everyone turned into superheroes and their nemesis, The Zookeeper had animals as lackeys. One of them was an elephant.. who never forgets... to KILL! That was funny. *end of digression*

Anyway, the exams are round the corner. A week or so. And im shitting in my pants even if i have only 2 papers to sit for and they are Law modules so i pretty much enjoy studying for them even if Company Law under LPY was a PAIN. I had nightmares of Ellinger last night. That must be a clear sign that i am going stark raving mad. Ellinger for all you ignorant fools, is one of the authors on my Banking Law texts, and not some dark haired green eyed handsome boy from some late night drama.

I AM going mad.
